Tour Charlie

This review is long over due (sorry Roy!).  We took a helicopter ride last October 17th in the morning.  I had been working with Roy on it for a couple of months, having never done this before.  He was so good about making sure I kept my schedule open for the best window to fly.  We hit it spot on!  I found the staff very friendly and professional and rec’d great customer service.  I also felt all the equipment was well maintained and safety was the number one priority.

I had picked “Tour Charlie”, which was perfect for us.  Roy was very familiar with all of the sites and history of the area.  There was a front that had gone through the day before, so the lingering clouds gave the mountains a spectacular contrast.

The helicopter was very CLEAN and comfortable!  I found that we rec’d a lot for our money and would take another ride sometime in the future.  if you are vacationing in Big Bear, a helicopter ride is a must.  It’s fun going out to the airport and you can have a nice breakfast or lunch at the restaurant there.  Thanks, Roy!!!

This is a must do in Big Bear. Spring for the longest trip you can afford. We took 35 minute tour and loved every second. Roy is outstanding; knowledgeable, kind and talented.

My husband booked us the Charlie package (35 Minutes) for our anniversary. So much fun!! I wish we had booked the longer flight. Captain Roy is a talker, very friendly. His wife was very helpful and friendly working the front desk and carting us out to our heli flight. These flights may seem pricey but compared to other places we have visited they are a great deal!! I would recommend this as something you HAVE to do if you visit Big Bear! If you go on a holiday weekend/weekend make reservations as they get a little busy.
