Helicopter Big Bear is a family-owned and operated helicopter business that’s been in operation for over 10 years. Our personnel are FAA approved with over 22 years of flight experience combined to guarantee a safe and comfortable experience.

We offer a variety of tour options with nine different suggested flights ranging from seven to forty-five minutes of flying fun. There are many visual opportunities throughout any one of the available tour choices. The bird’s eye views include many landmarks and points of interest. Besides the great picturesque forest scenery inside the Big Bear Valley, many other views may include numerous mountain area lakes, the Mojave desert, the towering San Gorgonio mountain range, the Santa Ana canyon and other endless once-in-a-lifetime visual experiences. Cameras are welcome aboard the helicopter so you can capture your journey.

Almost all of Helicopter Big Bear’s passengers are first timers in a helicopter. To ensure our passengers feel comfortable, a lot of attention is put on safety. The process is thoroughly explained before the flight with the Helicopter Big Bear staff answering all questions and addressing any concerns passengers may have. While in flight, all passengers are wearing a communicative headset and are able to speak with each other and directly to the pilot. The helicopters are fully enclosed with every seat being a window seat. The tours are all private flights with no one else onboard other than your group. All ages are welcome.

Reservations are recommended, with walk-ins also welcome (subject to availability). The tours are guided with special attention put on fun and local facts.
